A single source of truth for every office, whatever practice-management system it runs

A DSO running Denticon in some offices, Dentrix Enterprise in others and Cloud9 Ortho in the ortho locations has no single number for the group, because none of those systems were built to see past their own office. We built a modern reporting infrastructure that pulls all of it into one place, current every day, so an executive gets one answer instead of four different ones.

Every number traced back to its source

Before anything is reported, we pull a full copy of Denticon, Dentrix Enterprise, Cloud9 Ortho and Great Plains into a staging layer, on each system's own schedule. Nothing is summarized or reshaped until the raw data from every office has already landed, so a number in a report can always be traced back to the system it came from.

One consistent model, not four different reports

Denticon, Dentrix Enterprise, Cloud9 Ortho and Great Plains each name the same office, patient or provider differently. We reconcile all of it into one model on Microsoft Fabric, so "this office" and "this provider" mean the same thing everywhere in the report. Underneath, that means a medallion architecture: bronze holds the raw data unchanged, silver conforms it across systems, and gold holds the version executives actually query.

Numbers as current as this morning, not last week's export

Reporting reads directly out of the same Fabric storage everything above lands in, not from a separate nightly export that's already stale by the time someone opens it. Executives see current numbers in Power BI without waiting on a batch job. Underneath, that's a DirectLake semantic model, not an import.

The scale it's built for

400+
dental offices supported

Across multiple DSO tenants running Denticon, Dentrix Enterprise and Cloud9 Ortho, with roughly 1,800 managed endpoints.

A single reporting platform, not a set of per-office spreadsheets or a single system's native reports, is the only way to get one answer to a group-wide question at that scale.

Where it's running

A multi-specialty dental service organization's Denticon and Cloud9 Ortho data lands here, reported through Power BI on Microsoft Fabric (read the case study). Another dental service organization also runs its data work on Microsoft Fabric, with UKG as its HR system of record (read the case study).

What it depends on underneath

This reporting depends on every office feeding it having working endpoints, current Microsoft 365 licensing and a functioning network, which is what Managed IT & Security covers.
