Managed NetSuite administration for manufacturers without an in-house admin
Most manufacturers running NetSuite don't have a full-time administrator, and the account ends up owned by whoever in finance or operations happened to be in the room during implementation. That works until a role needs changing, a saved search stops matching reality, or a script someone wrote three years ago throws an error nobody on staff can read. We run that function as an ongoing engagement rather than a one-off project — the same account, the same people, month over month, for an oilfield sealing products manufacturer (read the case study) and elsewhere.
What ongoing administration actually covers
Roles and permissions as the org chart changes, so access matches who's actually doing the job rather than who was hired two reorgs ago. Workflows, saved searches and dashboards that drift out of date as item masters, subsidiaries and approval chains change under them. Script and SuiteApp upkeep so an integration or a customization doesn't quietly break on the next release. Month-end and period-close support when a close doesn't balance and someone needs to know whether that's a NetSuite configuration problem or a data problem — those are not the same troubleshooting path, and telling them apart is most of the job.
The alternative to a support ticket queue
A lot of "managed NetSuite" offerings are a ticket portal with an SLA attached. We work as the same one or two people on your account across months, which means the person answering a question already knows your chart of accounts, your subsidiary structure and the last three things that went wrong — instead of relearning your account from a ticket description every time.
Where this connects to Advanced Manufacturing and SuiteScript
For manufacturers, ongoing administration and Advanced Manufacturing support are rarely separable — a role change affects who can complete a work order, a saved search question is really a capacity-planning question, a "quick fix" needs a SuiteScript change to do safely. See the Advanced Manufacturing work or the SuiteScript and SuiteQL work this usually runs alongside.
